It can be scary to be a believer questioning God. Having doubts about His existence, His role in the world, the great flood, or any of the other stories in the Bible can create feelings of guilt and anxiety. After all, you could be risking eternal damnation. But that doesn't make those doubts go away and you're left with a nagging sense of confusion.
But where do you go to ask the questions? If you ask your minister, the answer is eventually two fold, he'll first point you to the Bible and if that doesn't work, he'll say "God works in mysterious ways and you have to have faith in Him."
But what if the Bible doesn't satisfy the questions in your mind? What if you feel your faith slipping away and you need solid answers to your questions. Maybe you have a need to know and are unable to readily believe without evidence.

About the DoubtingFaith staff...
Each of us was brought up in a religious household, went to church, read the Bible, etc... And along the way, each of us began to have questions that we could not find answers to within that religion.
We are here to share our stories and our journeys with you. We can help you find answers and share our personal experiences with you.
